The most hated behavior to the Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) was false speech.Aisha (radiyAllaahu 'anha) reported: There was no behavior more hateful to the Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) than lying. A man would lie when narrating something in the presence of the Prophet and he would not be content until he knew that he had repented.[Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book 25, Number 1973, Grade: Hasan]
